What To Know When Pregnant at Disney World

If you are pregnant and wondering if your Walt Disney World vacation will be any fun for you, I am happy to tell you that there are many things you can participate in while pregnant!

Every ride will have signs at the entrance that include height requirements and safety warnings to follow if you are pregnant. Unfortunately, thrill rides and roller coasters are on the do not ride list, but there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy. Park maps will have a red triangle to mark the rides with limitations and will also show you where the nearest bathrooms are.

If you would like to plan your family’s vacation ahead of time, here is a helpful list. These are the rides and attractions for each park that, according to Disney, you can ride during a healthy pregnancy as well as the rides Disney states are not safe to ride while pregnant. It is very important to check this list with your doctor before your trip.

Tips to Enjoy your Walt Disney World Vacation While Pregnant

Stay Hydrated: The heat and humidity may affect you differently while pregnant. Be sure to drink a lot of water and be conscious of any symptoms like dizziness, swelling, fatigue, or anything unusual. There are first aid stations in all of the parks in case you find yourself in need of them. You can bring water or drinks with you into the parks so you don’t have to purchase expensive bottles of water in the park.

Bring Snacks: There are many delicious snacks inside the Disney parks and here are some crowd favorite snacks to find. To save some money you can also bring your own. You can order grocery delivery services to your hotel room to have snacks to bring with you to the parks.

Avoid Lines: Use Genie + or Lightning Lane to help you avoid standing for long periods of time.

Wear Comfortable Shoes: Wear shoes that are comfortable but also broken in. Your feet will thank you.

Take a Lot of Pictures: Document this special time with maternity pictures and pictures of your baby’s first Disney trip. Consider purchasing Memory Maker to help you take some magical pictures.
