Dole Whip has been a must-get Disney snack since the 1980s when the classic pineapple flavor was introduced at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom. The Dole Company sponsored the Enchanted Tiki Room, which is where this fruity match originated!
For a long time, this was the only flavor and location where you could get this tropical treat, but nowadays, there are many flavors, locations, and ways to enjoy Dole Whip at Disney World!

You can now find Dole Whip in every Disney World park (apart from one, more on that later!), at Disney Springs, and even some of the Disney Resorts!

One of the best things about having so many different Dole Whip locations is that there are now lots of different flavors, combinations, and unique treats made from this fruity soft serve.
What is Dole Whip? Is it vegan or gluten-free?
Dole Whip is a frozen dessert created by the Dole Company in 1984. It is similar to soft-serve ice cream, but this sweet treat is dairy-free!
Dole Whip is both vegan and gluten-free, meaning everyone gets to enjoy this refreshing snack!
Just be aware that the coconut flavor is not vegan. The vanilla soft serve, which you can get swirled with Dole Whip flavors, is also not vegan as it contains dairy. Â All other flavors are vegan, so there are plenty of choices!
Dole Whip is also fat-free, so it is one Disney treat that you can happily indulge in!
What flavors does Dole Whip come in?
Dole Whip started out as just the iconic pineapple flavor, but many delicious fruity flavors are now to try.

EPCOT does sell Dole Whip, but only at certain times of the year. During some of the EPCOT festivals, you can get this iconic Disney treat.

For your Dole Whip fix at Disney Springs, visit Marketplace Snacks. Not only do they serve traditional Dole Whip, but you can also find limited edition snacks featuring Dole Whip here!
Fun snacks occasionally pop up for a limited time, such as Dole Nachos, which were Waffle Cone Chips topped with DOLE Whip, Mango Boba Pearls, Fresh Pineapple, Strawberry Sauce, Whipped Cream, and Rainbow Sprinkles.
This location also had a secret menu item that was all the rage on TikTok! You could order a watermelon Dole Whip inside a watermelon wedge that was topped with chocolate chips!

Can you make Dole Whip at home?
Yes, you can! And it only takes three ingredients!
Blend 4 cups of frozen pineapple, half a cup of canned coconut milk, and half a cup of pineapple juice together, and then serve immediately or freeze. It is that simple!
