EPCOT has its yearly festivals, like the Festival of the Arts or the most popular one Food and Wine, but not rides. It’s also known that Disney World will not be getting any of the main Marvel characters inside the park.
So when the new Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction opened I was over the moon. When I took my first ride Cosmic Rewind became one of my top 5 roller coasters at Disney.
I’ve seen ridden Cosmic Rewind about 5 times so far. I’ve actually had Blondie’s One Way or Another twice so far. So I still need to ride a few more times to make my way through the full list of songs.
Every time I get off Cosmic Rewind I’m pumped, and ready to go do a few laps around the World Showcase! The music on Cosmic Rewind isn’t from a single artist, but multiple. Different tempos always getting my day going, so I try to get a boarding pass as early as I can!

Do The Songs Change On Cosmic Rewind?
There are six different songs featured on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This new ride is already the most popular attraction in EPCOT.
Walt Disney Imagineering has impressed everyone with their innovation when building this ride.
If you are lucky enough to ride the attraction a few times during your vacation, you’ll no doubt get the chance to experience different songs. The ride stays the same no matter how many times you ride.
You’ll find that the motion of it may feel different to you based on what song on the awesome mix you are listening to.
How Many Songs Does The Guardians Of The Galaxy Ride Have?
The six different songs on Cosmic Rewind are played at random, so you never know what you are going to get when you board the ride. With this many potential songs to choose from, you’ll feel like you are in the middle of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies every time you ride.
The cast member helping you board the ride won’t be able to choose the song for you, so you have to keep coming back until you experience all six of the tracks.
Until the ride takes off, you won’t have a clue which specific song you are about to hear, which adds to the fun of the experience. The Imagineers took years designing this ride and choosing the perfect tracks to add to it. The effort has paid off with the popularity of the attraction.
You’ll see your favorite characters during the ride, such as Peter Quill. Which is why Marvel lovers have returned over and over again for an intergalactic chase on this family-thrill coaster since it opened.
What Christmas Songs Will Be On Cosmic Rewind?
During the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, I was excited to find out that the holiday season would bring with it a holiday remix for Cosmic Rewind. The holiday remix was used during the peak holiday period, adding a festive twist to this ride.
For the holiday overlay, guests enjoyed holiday music with new lyrics, such as Run Run Rocket instead of Run Run Rudolph. Other tunes that were included during this time included Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls.
If it’s your first time on the attraction during the holidays, know that the actual ride doesn’t change at all. So you can still enjoy the holiday songs and mash-up of seasonal jams while appreciating the brand new ride experience.

If you’re a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, don’t forget to stop into the Wonders of Xandar pavilion. It’s your run of the mill gift shop for a Disney park, but it has more stuff related to the Guardians.
It’s a lot of fun to peek around and put on the different gear they have specific to the ride. I also enjoy the hologram type talking heads from different people in the Nova Corps.
