How to Find Pluto at Disney World: All Locations

Pluto first appeared without a name in the cartoon The Chain Gang in 1930. He later starred in The Picnic as Minnie’s dog and was named Rover. In 1931, he appeared as Mickey’s pet in The Moose Hunt and was given the name Pluto. He is part of the Sensational Six, some of the biggest stars of the Disney cartoons.

Where to Meet Pluto at Disney World?

Pluto is a popular character you can meet at any Disney park. You will find Pluto in every park as a meet & greet, in parades, rides, and more.

The easiest way to find the most up-to-date information on meeting Pluto at the Disney Theme Parks is to check the My Disney Experience App. The tip board will show you if there are any lightning lanes available for Pluto. Disney is now using single-pass and multi-pass systems instead of Genie+ and ILL.

Character meetings change frequently, so double-check that the greeting you are planning is still available in the My Disney Experience App. Meet-and-greet locations can also sometimes be relocated to other areas.

How to Find Pluto on the My Disney Experience App

To find Pluto, go to the My Disney Experience App and go to the map symbol at the bottom (next to the picture of the house). Click on “Wait Times” and change it to characters and click show list.

You will see the characters in alphabetical order, scroll down to see Pluto. You can also filter by park to see where you can meet Pluto in the park you are in for the day. Click on the meeting place to see the current wait time, location, and times Pluto is appearing.

Meet & greets with characters often have long lines, especially a beloved character like Pluto. Booking a character meal or finding a meet and greet with a lightning lane can save you from those long lines. You can also begin lining up about 20 minutes before the meet & greets begin for shorter lines.

Where Can I Meet Pluto at Magic Kingdom?

Pluto is usually found on Main Street U.S.A in the Magic Kingdom park. You can also see him at the grand finale of the Festival of Fantasy parade, which features a long caravan of popular characters.

Sometimes Pluto will take the place of Minnie Mouse in Pete’s Silly Sideshow Circus in the Storybook Circus area near Dumbo.

Yes, Pluto is usually one of the first characters you will see inside Epcot. This character meet can be found at the main entrance to Epcot, before Spaceship Earth.
