 Cypress Pointe offers spacious studio rooms, two-bedroom suites, and three-bedroom suites. The two- and three-bedroom rooms offer full kitchens, dining areas, two bathrooms and sleeper sofas for extra room to sleep. All rooms have screened in patios that offer a great extra space to eat or hang out on. These large rooms all have plenty of space to stretch out in and relax after a long day at the park.

Cypress Pointe Resorts offers a variety of amenities that are free while you stay. Beat the Florida heat in the large volcano pool and even race down the waterslides with your family! From pool parties to arts and crafts the activity department has exciting activities throughout the day to keep you busy. I would highly recommend staying a day at the resort and just enjoy all the on-site activities. 


Cypress Pointe Resort offers a small café next to the pool that serves food items and alcoholic beverages. There is a great grilling area with picnic tables beside the playground and pools. You can spend your afternoon spending time grilling and enjoying the outdoor amenities.

Just outside the west entrance of Disney’s Magic Kingdom is SpringHill Suites by Marriott. This is a great place to stay while visiting Disney and they even have a Disney Planning Center! This beautiful property with a great price tag averaging less than $100 a night.  If you are working on elite status being a Bonvoy Member, this could be an even bigger win for you!


Breakfast Buffet

On your way to the Parks stop by the complimentary daily breakfast buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast items. This is a great way to power up your long day at Disney.

Flamingo’s Bar & Grille

Flamingo’s Bar & Grille is a full restaurant that provides lunch and dinner. Flamingo’s has indoor, fireside and poolside seating. With a casual restaurant feel, it has a full menu with items such as appetizers, salads, entrees, pizza and more.  

BBQ and Picnic Area

Have and entertaining night eating pool side and cook out on the BBQ. With a beautiful nightly view and giant picnic pavilion, enjoy hanging poolside with good company.

The Market

This small convenience store is the perfect spot for a snack or drink. They even have full bottles of wine you can grab to bring back to your room and take advantage of your view. 


There are a variety of comfortable and cozy suites to choose from at SpringHill Suites. All suites have a living room with Netflix-enabled TV’s and in-room mini-fridges and microwaves. End your day with some Disney Magic and upgrade your room to have a Magic Kingdom view, then you can watch the fireworks from your room! 

Disney Shuttle

For only $5.00 a person you can take the Walt Disney World Theme Park Shuttle to the Transportation and Ticket Center at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. From there you are able to take a complimentary bus, monorail, or ferry service between all four Disney Parks.

 Another Diamond Resort is on our list, but this one could not be left out. This family friendly, affordable resort has gorgeous views that look out over beautiful Little Lake Bryan. This casual, home like resort is only 2.5 miles from Disney and has so many amenities you will have to plan a day just to hang out and do them all. This resort starts out at less than $100, a great value for the space of your room and all the activities included in the price. 

Recreation and Activities

Like Cypress Pointe, Grand Beach also has an Activities Department that puts on pool parties, arts and crafts, ice cream socials and much more. When you check in make sure to pick up a copy of the activities calendar to plan your day around. Spend the day relaxing in the hammock on the beach or take a paddle boat out on the lake. Take a stroll along the beach and watch the sun set over Little Lake Bryan. There are so many free, outdoor amenities you will have a hard time finding time to fit them all in.  Some of the recreation activities include:

Grand Beach does not have any restaurants on site but does have a convenience store with some food items and alcoholic beverages. 

The resort also includes gas grills, in between the pool and playground. Spend the evening watching the sunset over Little Lake Bryan, while grilling and having the kids enjoy the playground and pool area.

Grab your morning coffee and pastry at Joffrey’s Coffee Shop located on the lobby level. Opened daily 7:00-11:00am.

Oasis Restaurant

Enjoy lunch, dinner, or a cocktail at this relaxing, casual poolside restaurant. Open daily 10:00am -9:00pm. 

Eclipse Lounge

Hang out with friends and grab some drinks and small plates at this lobby level lounge. This is a great place to kick back and watch a sports game on the big screen TV. 

Sundial Café

 This quick service restaurant is an ideal place to grab a quick coffee early morning or late-night snack. Sundial Café is open 24/7, so when those late-night craving hit, stop in and grab a treat!
