How Are The Crowds During The 4th Of July?

The 4th of July is one of the busiest times of the year in the theme parks. Both locals and visitors travel to Orlando at this time, which is in the middle of the peak summer period. We highly recommend booking your trip as soon as possible for this reason. You’ll need to book park reservations for this day and try to book dining on the 60-day mark if you are staying on-site. You may want to consider using Genie+ and the Lightning Lane for this time of the year, as it may make getting on attractions a little easier. One thing’s for sure, you’ll want to pack your patience at this time of the year. It’s a great time to visit the parks, but you’ll find wait times for food and attractions are about as high as the Christmas and New Year time.

What Are The Temperatures Around The 4th Of July?

One of the reasons that so many people travel to Orlando during this time is the fantastic weather conditions. Expect highs this month of 92° and lows of 75°. The month does see up to 13 days of rain, so you’ll need to be aware of the potential for a heavy afternoon downpour. However, it’s just before the worst part of hurricane season, so it’s still a great time for swimming and sunbathing. Make sure you keep hydrated in the parks when you are out for the whole day to avoid becoming unwell due to the heat.

Top Tips For Enjoying The 4th Of July At Disney World

To make the most of your time at Walt Disney World during the 4th of July, we recommend planning as much of your trip as possible ahead of time. It’s always good to try and secure one table-service dining reservation on this day. This will give you and your family the chance to sit down in the air conditioning for an hour and avoid the long lines for quick-service dining.
