Olaf is the lovable snowman from Disney’s Frozen franchise. His character is absolutely hilarious, he loves summer and giving warm hugs. If you are an Olaf fan, you may be wondering where to meet Olaf at Disney World.
Olaf is one of my favorite characters from Frozen. He adds so much to the movies and brings some heartwarming moments and humor to these emotional films.
Where to Meet Olaf at Disney World
There is only one place you can meet Olaf at Disney World, but other places where you can catch some sightings of him. If you are an Olaf fan, you will want to plan your next Disney trip accordingly so that you can have a chance to meet him in person.
There are also a few other places you can see him throughout the parks so I have put together this complete guide on where you will want to go to see Olaf if you are a Frozen fan!
Can I meet Olaf at Magic Kingdom?
There is no official Olaf meet and greet at Magic Kingdom, but there are a few ways that you can see him.
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire is a stage show directly in front of Cinderella castle. This show has some great numbers from Tangled and the The Princess and the Frog. At the very end of the show Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf come out for a very cool finale!
Olaf is so cute running around the stage in his costume giving warm hugs!
Festival of Fantasy Parade
Frozen has its’s very own float in the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Anna and Elsa stand on the float and greet guests while Olaf is not a live character, but a cute animatronic style character that spins around on the float.
During the Holidays
The holidays are a very magical time at Disney, specifically at the Magic Kingdom with some unique opportunities to see Olaf and the rest of the Frozen gang.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – During the holiday party there is a special Christmas parade. This is where you can see characters from Frozen, including a full costumed Olaf on the back of the float.
Frozen Holiday Surprise – The Frozen Holiday Surprise is a nighttime stage show that takes place in front of the castle. It is a short show with dialogue between Elsa, Anna and Olaf as they prepare to light up the castle for the holidays.
Can I meet Olaf at Epcot?
You can not meet Olaf at Epcot, however, Epcot is an amazing place to be immersed in Frozen. You can meet Anna and Elsa at their very own meet and greet and you can see Olaf on the Frozen attraction.
Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After is a beautiful boat ride located in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Olaf has his very own number in this ride, and his animatronic is so cute! This is such a fun ride that the whole family can enjoy.
Can I meet Olaf at Hollywood Studios?
Hollywood Studios is the only place that you can meet Olaf as a character meet and greet.
Meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight
Celebrity Spotlight is located in the Echo Lake area right behind the Frozen Sing-Along show. This themed area is absolutely adorable and makes for the best photo backdrop. Olaf is living his dream on the beach in the summer time!
The line for this meet and greet is usually much shorter than other character meets in the theme parks.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
This Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is a 25 minute show located in the Hyperion Theater. The show is hosted by the Arendelle Historians who give their hilarious take on the stories in Frozen.
They will then lead you in a sing-along with scenes from the movie playing on a big screen in the background. Olaf does not appear in costume during this show. However, in past holiday seasons there has been a holiday overlay of the show with Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ Finale added to the end of the show!
What questions should I ask Olaf?
Olaf as a character does not speak, though you can definitely ask him to give you a warm hug. He will happily oblige. Here’s a hint: Don’t let go and he will hug you even a little longer!
Will Olaf Sign My Autograph Book?
For autograph collectors, you might be wondering if Olaf will be able to sign your autograph book. Unfortunately, Olaf is one of the characters that isn’t able to sign, but they often give you an autograph card to take with you instead.
You can add this into your autograph books or keep it as a special souvenir of your time in the parks.
Final Thoughts
