Just Arrived, Higher Food Prices at Disney World

It’s not a secret that prices have been rising for your Walt Disney World vacation. Recently, Walt Disney world changed their free fast pass system and replaced it with Genie+ and Lightning Lane. Just after this new system is in place, Disney has increased food prices across the parks and resorts.

Crowd favorite snacks are increasing. Some of the favorites that are increasing by a dollar are the Dole Whip going from $4.99 to $5.99 and the pineapple float changing from $5.99 to $6.99. The popular Mickey Ear Ice Cream is now $6.25 increasing by 25 cents. Popcorn buckets will now be $13, a $1.71 increase and the refills are now $2.25 which is an increase of .36 cents. The popular Mickey Pretzels have increased .50 cents. Soda in bottles will be $5 now.

Some Disney restaurants have increased the prices on their meals and limited their menus. PizzeRizzo is increasing by 50 cents as well as some dishes at the popular Regal Eagle Smokehouse. You will see $2 increases on dishes in Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and Steakhouse 71.

Cocktails are another item that will be more expensive to partake in at Disney World. Many are increasing by $1-$2 at places like Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace, Oga’s Cantina, and Enchanted Rose.

These are just some of the increases guests will need to budget for when visiting Walt Disney World. Let us know how you feel about these changes in the comments below.
