The newly renovated rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offer a great option for your next Disney trip! Our recent stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort was pleasant and we would stay here again. We stayed in the Aruba Village in Room Number 4628.
When you walk into the lobby, you immediately feel like you are in a tropical paradise island. I have heard numerous complaints about this resort, but the renovations have greatly improved this moderate Disney resort.
Our favorite part was being near Disney’s Riviera, the Disney Skyliner, and the freestyle machines being in each building a short walk from the room.

Sebastian’s Bistro
A Latin and Caribbean style restaurant ranging from about $35 to $60 per person. Sebastian’s Bistro is open from 4:30PM to 9:30PM for dinner that is served family style. The meal is brought to your table to share, but they will bring you more of anything you run out of.
This is a table service restaurant so it’s best to make dining reservations ahead of time. We have been lucky enough to score last minute reservations, but it’s not guaranteed to be able to walk up. This is an underrated Disney World reservation and a great place to eat dinner!
We have eaten here twice and enjoyed our meals. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Even though the food is family style, we were taken care of with my allergy. The chef came out and modified a couple of dishes for me. He also sent out one dish that couldn’t be modified for me so that my husband wouldn’t miss out.Â
Centertown Market
This quick service restaurant is food court style and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7:00AM to 11:00PM. Meals are about $15 per person. Options include Caribbean style meals, pizza, sandwiches, and burgers.
We ate breakfast and dinner while staying here and the food court was pretty good, but not my favorite. There is also the Centertown Market Grab & Go with some drinks, snacks, and on the go meals if you’re in a hurry.
Spyglass Grill
A quick service location open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7:00AM to 10:00PM. It’s near the Trinidad pool area overlooking Barefoot Bay. Meals are about $15 per person.
Banana Cabana Bar
Banana Cabana Bar is next door to Sebastian’s Bistro across from the main pool and open from 11:00AM to 10:00PM. Perfect for poolside food and drinks, or getting a drink while waiting for a table at Sebastian’s Bistro. You can find island inspired cocktails and bites to eat.

Tips for Staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- To make the most of your stay at Caribbean Beach Resort, it’s essential to plan and pack accordingly. Be sure to bring sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes to ensure a pleasant experience throughout your vacation.
- Each resort building has a coke freestyle machine where you can fill your refillable mug. It is so convenient not to have to walk to the front building to get a drink refill making the refillable mugs worth it for this resort. You can also fill water bottles from the freestyle machine as well.
- The preferred rooms are closest to the dining options and gift shop, but the furthest away from the Skyliner. With so many bus stops and the skyliner, the preferred rooms aren’t worth the price unless you really want to be closer to dining.
- Sebastian’s Bistro is a highly underrated table-service restaurant. I highly recommend trying to book a reservation for your Walt Disney World vacation.
- You have a great view of EPCOT fireworks from the Banana Cabana Pool Bar or the beach near the skyliner. They are quiet places to watch the fireworks without having to battle crowds. You can also see them from some tables at Sebastian’s Bistro.
- The Riviera is a short walk away, especially if you are staying in rooms closest to the skyliner. You can pop over to Disney’s Riviera Resort for breakfast before heading out to the parks. There is also a Joffrey’s near the Skyliner. We were also able to score a last minute Topolino’s character breakfast while staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. If you wake up early and walk over when they open, they may be able to get you in. This is a hard to score dining reservation!
- You can use mobile ordering on the My Disney Experience App for any of the quick service locations at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Riviera to make things faster. Especially if you are trying to get to the parks quickly for Early Entry.
