There are three types of rooms at All-Star Music Resort: standard, preferred and family suites. Guest rooms average $173 a night on the date of publishing this article although room rates can vary based on time of year.
Standard and preferred rooms are 260 square feet and come with 2 double beds. These types of rooms are suitable for up to 4 adults and a child in a crib. They come with amenities such as a mini fridge, an iron and ironing board, and a coffee maker. There are options for accessible rooms as well.
The family suites are 520 square feet and can sleep up to 6 adults. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and in the living room are there is a sofa bed that sleeps two people, a sleeper chair that pulls out into a bed for one person and an ottoman that folds out into a bed for one.

As well as a living room to relax in the family suites also have a small kitchenette and two full bathrooms. The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee maker and a mini fridge.
These types of rooms are perfect for families that need more beds and a bit more space.
The décor in the rooms features bold colors with some Disney artwork. The style is still very much from the 90’s theming, but has been renovated.
Standard Rooms

The Preferred rooms are located closer to Melody Hall. These rooms are closer to transportation, dining and shopping, pools, and the Intermission Food Court. It is a 20 minute bus ride from All-Star Sports Resort to Magic Kingdom and buses run about every 20 minutes. Plan on at least 40-60 minutes to get to Magic Kingdom especially if there are long lines for the buses.
Do you have to pay for parking at All-Star Music?
Parking is now free for guests at all Disney properties as of January 10, 2023. All-Star Music has overnight self-parking only.

Intermission Food Court
There is one restaurant at All-Star Music Resort called Intermission Food Court. This large quick service restaurant has 5 stations, which all serve different types of food, just like at the All-Star Movies Resort. The food served here is family-friendly fare such as burgers, pizza, pasta and salads. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available.






Singing Spirits Pool Bar
Located outside the Calypso Pool area, this poolside bar offers drinks and snacks to enjoy at the bar or by the pool. Offerings include drinks, salads, sandwiches, Chips, and Mickey Pretzels.
Shops
There is one gift shop, called Maestro Mickey’s, where you can buy souvenirs and snacks plus any items you may have forgotten such as toiletries and basic pharmacy products.

Pools
There are two pools available to use. The Calypso Pool is the main pool and is shaped like a guitar! This pool has a replica of The Three Caballeros that shoots water at you! There is also a water play area nearby for children.





The second pool is the Piano Pool which is the quiet pool at this resort. The Piano Pool is located near blocks 2 and 8.
A pool bar, Singing Spirits Pool Bar, is also available for beverages.
Does the All Star Music Resort have a hot tub?
None of the value resorts on Disney property offer a hot tub. Consider a Moderate Resort or a Deluxe Resort if you are interested in having a access to a hot tub.
Activities

There is a 1 mile jogging trail, a small playground for children to enjoy between building 9 and building 10, an arcade, plus Movies Under The Stars to enjoy in the evenings.
This resort will have its own activities schedule which lists all of the activities on offer for you to partake in.
- There is a jogging trail that is 1 mile long and winds around the All-Star Resort complex. This is good for jogging or for walking.
- There is a children’s playground near the Jazz buildings.
- There is an arcade in the main building, Melody Hall, called Note’able Games Arcade.
- Movies Under The Stars is where Disney films are shown in the evening outdoors for you to enjoy outside the Calypso Pool at 8:30pm. Check with the front desk for information about which movies will be shown during your stay.

- All Star Music Campfire Activities: Make smores near the Calypso Pool between 6:30 and 7:30 every night.

Additional Benefits
Laundry Room
There is a laundry room on property near the Piano Pool where guests can use the washers and dryers. 24-hour self-service laundry rooms are nice if you have accidents and need clean clothes you are covered. You can also save money on luggage if you are flying to Florida by bringing less clothes with you and planning to do laundry.
Early Theme Park Entry
This has become a huge perk with the addition of Genie+. Guests can save money by using the early access to the parks. On property resort guests including All-Star Music guests can enter the parks 30 minutes before they open. This used to be known as Rope Drop and is now an on property perk that can help you save money and avoid paying for Genie+.

All-Star Resorts have small rooms, but All-Star Music has the added perk of family suites that are a little bit larger for families of 6. All-Star Resorts are great for families on a tight budget for their Walt Disney World vacation. This can be one of the best options for families to experience the Disney Magic. The Kitchen area is also a big perk of the family suites.
All-Star Hotels do not have Skyliner access which is why they are usually cheaper than the other value resorts on Disney property. Bus lines can be long and bus rides are longer due to all three Disney All-Star Resorts having to share buses.
